What if I have several offices that I wish to sign up?

What is MyDentalRewards.com?

MyDentalReward$.com  is a web based program that specializes in providing a simple yet powerful patient retention/promotion tool for all dentists to use in their office. The key feature of this program is to provide cash back reward incentives to patients for their loyalty as well as incentives to purchase more services and make more referrals to your office. When you sign up for the program, your office will be directed to purchase a scan gun and customized barcoded key tags to be given to each patient.  Each time they make a payment at your office, you will simply scan their key tag and enter the amount they paid. MyDentalRewards will then calculate the cash back reward based on the options that you selected at initial setup.  You have complete control of the percentage cashback that they earn as well as the maximum annual reward per individual or household. (Family members can be linked to one household account if desired).  When a patient wants to use their accumulated cash back reward, you simply scan their key tag, check their rewards balance and then click the "Redeem" button to subtract the reward dollars from their account.  You would then enter this amount in the ledger of your Practice Management Software as a "Rewards" payment to their account. 

What is the process to get started?

When you sign up and register to use this program, you will be directed to the online store to purchase a barcode scanner and custom designed key tags with your office logo, phone number, and web site to be printed on the front.    You will receive a proof via email within 1 business day. Once approved, the custom key tags will be fabricated and delivered to your office in 2-3 weeks. You will create a login name and password on MyDentalRewards.com for use each time you login to the program.

What items/supplies do I need to run this program?

All you need is a computer with an internet connection as well as the key tags and barcode scanner. You will need 1 available USB port for the scanner. As stated above, when you join,  you will be directed to the online store to purchase the USB barcode scanner and the custom key tags.  (Sent separately).  You may also choose to purchase custom 4 X 6 cards detailing how the rewards program works.  These cards can be given to your patients and can also be sent in your billing envelopes or other marketing campaigns.

What is the initial investment to get started?

Select the quantity of key tags you want in your initial order (1000 or 2000).  There are two styles of key tags available.  (Please click on Online Store at top of page to view the styles) The first one is a rectangular shaped 1" by 2" key tag.  The second style is a tooth shaped key tag 1.5"  by 2". The minimum quantity for the rectangular key tags is 2000.  You will also need to purchase at least 1 USB plug in barcode scanning gun.

How am I billed?

Once you sign up, your credit card will be billed $49 monthly for as long as you use the program.

How long do I have to stay with the service?

There is no contract and you can cancel at any time by emailing us at support@mydentalrewards.com  Be sure to email us from the administrators email address to confirm validity.  You will receive a confirmation email when your account has been cancelled.

How long does it take to get the program up and running in my office?

Once you place your order, you will have immediate access to MyDentalRewards.com. You can start by customizing your settings within minutes.  You can then begin to reward your patients!  (See the Online Help section) You will receive your scanner  in 5-7 business days. You will be contacted via email from the key tag vendor asking for practice information and logo if applicable to customize your key tags.  Once you approve the logo/info on the key tags, your key tags will be sent off for printing and you should receive them in 3-4 weeks.


Is the information on the website private and secure?

Yes. All data is secured by a 128 bit SSL encryption. MyDentalRewards.com is also protected by Hacker Safe, the leading online security company in the world.  All MyDentalRewards.com customer account information is held confidential. We do not sell our customer list or customer information to any other entities.

What kind of support is available for me?

There is an online help section which answers most common questions. This can be accessed once logged in to the program. You may also contact us at support@mydentalrewards.com


What if I make a mistake entering the wrong amount to a patient's profile?

There is an option in the patient's rewards profile to make a correction or adjustment to their rewards account. (See Online help section)

What if a patient loses their key tag?

You search the patient's name to view their rewards profile and click on LOST KEY TAG and then activate a new key tag for them to use. The old key tag will be deactivated but their rewards balance will remain unchanged. (See Online help section)

What if there are several family members who have key tags and want one rewards account?

No problem! There is an option to link families with several key tags to a single rewards account. (See Online help section)

How do I send out emails to patients?

This is done automatically at several different times. The patient first receives an email when their account is initiated and this walks them through online access to their account. They will also receive an email every time there is activity on their account. They will also receive a monthly email showing their rewards balance. They can also receive a monthly newsletter if you choose.

How do I print letters to my patients?

There is a template that merges with Microsoft Word to create letters to patients whose rewards are about to expire. (See Online help section)

What if I need more key tags or another scan gun?

You can order additional key tags and scan guns by selecting the link to our online store.

What if I have several offices that I wish to sign up?
